Depending on the medical complaint. Ideal when an in-person exam isn't required.

  • Prescriptions and refills when clinically appropriate
  • Travel medicine and pre-flight guidance
  • Follow-up after a recent in-person visit

Straight answers on cost

Is the house call fee reimbursable?+

Yes.most PPO insurance plans partially reimburse the $975 house call fee. Dr. Farzam is out-of-network and provides a detailed superbill you can submit to your insurer. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

When is a phone consultation the right choice?+

Phone consultations work well for medication refills, follow-up questions, second opinions, travel medicine advice, mild illness triage, and situations where a physical exam isn't required. If Dr. Farzam determines you need to be seen in person, he'll tell you straight.

Are there any additional charges?+

The $975 house call fee is all-inclusive for the visit itself: travel, exam, prescriptions, and follow-up. Optional add-ons (IV therapy, in-home labs, advanced diagnostics) are quoted transparently before the visit.

How do I decide which is right for me?+
